With more conceal carry permits being issued than ever before, and gun sales at record levels, what's everyone carrying?! Here's my latest addition Kimber Micro Raptor .380 and my IWB holster from Alien Gear

I have more than enough carry-pieces. Unless I'm under-dressed due to weather or need to tone it down for events.....HK USPc40.

A 5' 4" pissed off Irish redhead who grew up with 4 brothers

I sold my guns @ 16....a Browning 308 bolt w/ Weaver scope & a Browning 22 LR 11 shot stock loader, semi auto.....barrel detach @ breach.....2 lbs. 4 oz.
So ive lived my life w/o guns, they dont tweak me. But lately i think about having some sidearms. I did work at Bryco(now defunct) a couple times in 90's, where we mfg'd Jennings Firearms. The pistols were alloy frame & slide.
As a first pick up, i would find a Jennings Model 59 9mm w/ 13 shot staggered magazine. I would remachine the slide & frame to relieve rapid fire jamming. The problem with many of Jennings jam ups is that the castings were farmed out with the tool steel molds supplied by Bryco to different casting houses.....typical of production, the casting houses would not leaves parts a long enough cool off window IN mold, so slight warpages occurred in some parts from being popped out too soon...heat from rapid fire would close up the irregular tolerances between slide & frame.......Bryco had a good warranty program & fixed every piece retuned. Often called Saturday Night Specials, Jennings were very affordable & the designs were sound. So for nostalgia & affordability, i am going to hunt down a 9mm i imagine,,,, see where it goes from there......maybe then a composite Glock. I remember the Jennings 59 had a nice solid feel in hand & was fun to rapid test fire......we had 'snail' chambers to fire into......could hear the lead spinning round & round in the chambers.

Colt 38 snub nose revolver and a glock 19 mid frame when I travel where there is repciprocity with my issued Florida concealed weapons permit. I live in California now so I carry two fistolas and pray.

No way to get a Permit here in Santa Clara County. If I could, it would be the S&W Bodyguard 38 Snubby. It has a nice tactical double action trigger and narrow grip for concealment.

Glock 17 and a 21 (.40 and .45) depending on how I'm dressed but now that we can open carry, it doesn't really matter anymore how I'm dressed. I still like to keep concealed but now it's not illegal so accidentally showing won't get ya in trouble now. The 21 is still pretty decent looking but the 17 looks like it's been to hell and back so the 17 gets the nod the majority of the time. It still shoots pretty decent even when dirty. I threw everything else into the Gulf of Mexico last time out :D

Generally I carry my Paps gov.model 1911 or my s/w model 36 snubby with a molded leather holster with a spring wire that goes inside your pants/belt and it stays put very well. As I have gotten older I don't like shooting the big bores much any more, I guess. On my 1911 I use the standard military M-3 shoulder holster and after 50 + years I still cant find anything better. As a matter of fact I have and will continue to pack heat regardless of state by state laws. During my working years I traveled pretty much all of the central/midwest states and those two weapons wear and fit very well. I was never the type to hang around bars late at night in some god forsaken armpit close to a construction field with a bunch of F-sticks and swing a weapon around [we all know the type] but, I'm very thankful I always was able to make it home to my wife and boys. Its amazing how easy you can get into a hairy situation without even trying. I always figured if I had to smoke some fractured low life that the legal system would protect me if all was correct and am still ready willing and able as are my sons and grandsons. No sane man wants to kill, but don't force sane men. Good luck all.

Depending upon the clothing, I carry either a Sig Sauer P226 or a Sig Sauer P230.
Extremely hard to get a Concealed Carry Permit here in Socialist Maryland...I've had mine now since 1987.

When I lived in dummycrat run Illinois it took 6 months just to get my FOID card to be able to purchase a firearm, i live in Indiana now where you don't need anything but an id to purchase a firearm, I paid 160 for a lifetime conceal carry permit and it was approved by the state police in 24 hours!

I currently reside in Indiana, but still work in Illinois on the south side of Chicago where 4,000+ people have been shot this year. Needless to say I do not travel through that neighborhood unarmed, even though my permit isn't valid in Illinois because I didn't pay hundreds of dollars in fees and classes to get an IL permit, a little civil disobedience is worth the risk of being caught in a life or death situation and being unarmed. I've heard Trump and his team is working on a bill that would make your permits like a drivers license, valid in any state.

Cool! You would think Texas would be like that too but it's not. If everything is right on the application and after 8 hours of class room and qualifying on the range, you get your license in about a month or so. I think it's more back log than anything. Also, first renewal is 4 hours of class room and again to the range but only had to confirm paperwork and send in the fee the 3rd time. And the carry license should be on your driver's license instead of being a separate card. The already both look very alike.
