Swap a 440 into a 71 Charger

I have a really nice 71 Charger survivor that originally had a 318/auto. Engine/tranny are gone. What do I need to change to stuff a 440 into it? How good is a Chrysler 9.25 rear end with sure-grip? Will it fit in a 71 car? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Schumacher engine conversion motor mounts. Can buy from Mancini Racing SB to RB $145. TTI exhaust headers to whole exhaust systems. You'll need a radiator. Guys will add to this, I'm sure.

Im pretty sure you'll need Bigger diameter torque bars since your car had a small block in it.

You can use stock mounts. Obviously, BB trans & driveshaft, linkage. 9 1/4 rear will hold up on a street engine.

JUST DO IT, you'll have loads of fun.
Finding the engine/Trans together is key since you have a blank slate. Find one as complete as possible (accessories/Ps/etc), a donor car would be even better.

Going from 318 to 383 in a 71 charger right now. Used mounts from Napa for a 1968 charger 383 and engine brackets from a 1969 b body big block

I put a 440 in a 74 Charger once back in the 80's. I think I used mounts off a 400. didn't change out anything else . The car came with a tow package and had a small block 727 so I even used the drive shaft and rear end. ha ha those were the days.

It's been a while but as I remember it
What's needed:
engine, transmission, big block engine mount brackets, big block kickdown setup, exhaust manifolding or headers, radiator with corresponding inlet/outlet that fits the car's radiator support, driveshaft, some minor wiring extensions.
What might be nice:
larger diameter torsion bars, front sway bar
