Saving a 1970 Super Bee from the junker

I wondering if this car even have a vin tag. The trunk lip numbers are gone.

Well it is true, someone robbed all the tags, I was told someone got the the vin from the dash but didn't realize they got em all. Looks like I will be selling it for a good deal to a guy who just needs parts and will probably cut stuff off this one to get his back together. I'm happy it's will be going to o some good rather than rot even more or be crushed.

Man that thing is rough... Hard to tell from the pics, but if the paint is DY3 (cream), I own a VERY similar Bee - black stripe, no vinyl roof, 4-speed, Ramcharger Hood.

Still had some use. One side of grill, tailights, all the bumbers. Right there is a thousand bucks.

Personally, I wouldn't spend the time or fuel to retrieve it. I'd have posted pics of the heap...but that's all.

He made money on the deal and the new owner is going to use parts on his car. If he was closer to me I'd have payed him what he wanted and went and got it it. There were several parts that I would have been happy to keep as spares for my Bee.
The half of the grill that's left is in good shape and will fetch 500$ all day. I give him props and only wish he had parted it out.

I love all the his just a kid with dreams and I wouldnt have spent the time or money Bla Bla, Im 32yo picked up a 70 Super Bee, spent time with 2 of my buds driving out to get it, met an old man with 5 years of his life left and listened to all his stories, put a smile on my dads face to get to see another Super Bee, got some cool pictures, helped a fellow Bee owner get parts to put his back together, gave the new owner some hopeful leads on some chargers that may help him put some other projects together, made a template for a member so he can properly drill for his bee emblems on the rear if his car and made a profit all in about a 2 day span. Sounds like yall need to live a little, sorry to sound so blunt. I didnt mean to help anyone out here?(Sarcasm) I had an overwhelming amount of emails on this thing and could have got asking price but someone with a trailer, winch and a bee that needed help had the money and the time!

The overwhelming majority of these posts were complimentary. Or people showing interest in the Bee. I'm also guessing you got a few private messages also.
So don't take it so personally when a single member tries to ruffle your feathers a little.

Haha I am sure the "Yall's" know who they are, that was not directed to everyone.

If you lived lived within 100 miles of me that thing would Bee in my shop getting stripped.

I was not criticizing you, actually it was more of defending you and what you are doing. Also, I know very well that you are 32 yrs old, and believe me, that is still basically a kid. I'd be glad to trade ages with you, but I get to keep all the knowledge I've accumulated when we trade.

Good luck to you!

BTW, there's nothing WRONG with being a kid, enjoy it!
