69 Roadrunner Switch Panel Paint

I am trying to restore my switch panel. I know it originally has a texture finish. What is closer to the original texture? John Deere Blitz Black or the Rustoleum Texture Black

Any ideas what black finish the glove box hinge should be ?

Blitz black doesn't have texture in it. Very good quality paint, though. I've used many cans over the years.

The texture for a switch panel on a 69 is made into the surface of the panel. A 68 switch panel is smooth. I used semi gloss on mine and it looks great.

When prepping the 69 switch panel, don't use sand paper as you will smooth out the texture. A scotch brite pad works great for this.

I use SEM trim black for all dash parts.

Rustoieum (sp?) textured black matches the black dash nicely.
