Spring relocation and mini tubbing a 62 fury

I wanted to put a spring relocation kit on my 62 Fury. But it doesnt look like it gives me that much room if i dont mini tub it as well. I didnt want to go fabrication crazy and it looks like the deck lid mounts may be in the way if i try to make some tubs. The spring kit gives me about 4 inches but it looks like only about 2 if i leave the original tire wells. My car is still on my rotisserie and now would be the time to do it. Im sure you guys have done this before. Can anyone give me some tips and or pictures if possible.

What size tire? On my sons 62 we moved the front hanger against the frame rail. Drilled a hole thru the frame for eye bolt access. Installed sliders for the rear of the leaf spring. Cal-Tracks, stock wheel tub. M/T 275/60x15 drag radial on 10" wheels fits fine. Though my 64 is ladder bar and tubbed it has stock rails and outer fender lip. If you remove the trunk lid you can drill the spot welds out and remove the hinge mounts. We split the wheel well when doing a mini tub and make straight cuts on the floor. Much easier than trying to reform the floor to the inner wheel well. Add your band and weld it all up. Then you can trim the hinge mount to fit, reweld through the original spot weld holes. We mini-tubbed a Duster and were able to trim and bend the hinge mounts w/o removing them. My son has a 50 step Power Point on the Duster mini tub if you are interested. The mini tub pic is the Duster. Obviously a filler piece needs to be added but you can see how it was cut. The frame rail pic is the slider mount for the 62. Slider bolts on, no longer uses a shackle.
