Looking for a BB cable shift and transmission. Or just the cables. I currently have a 72 BB 727 rebuilt with the Imperial shift, but not working correct with my 65 Belvedere.

Located in Mi .. going to the Detroit Mopar meet

I have 727 65 BB cable shift cores. Or I can build you one. Either way. Have a few cables as well.

I can't remember if Could hook the cables to my present transmission. Any help on this one.

Imperial out of Frankenmuth Mi made a kit. Results have been debated as how well it works. However if your present trans has been rebuilt the guts can be swapped into the cable shift case, except the valve body.

The valve body is the most likely issue. Confirm if you have a 65 valve body.

I have a BB cable shift 727 out of a '62 Polara. Located in central Wisconsin.

The 62 trans has a flange style driveline not the slip yoke! FYI

Correct - it's a ball and trunion.

Mine are slip yoke 65

I tried a cable and found it difficult running it from the front of the car to the trans. to many things in the way. So I built me a rod system with heim joints. Been running it street and strip for 5 years. No cable slop or damaged cable outer coatings.
