Weighed my charger yesterday on four individual racecar scales. It is a street car with the following.

440 with aluminum heads and intake
TKO600 tremec 5 speed
Strange S60 rear end
Basically stock suspension with adjustable upper a-arms
Do have subframe connectors welded in, and also supports in the engine compartment.
Gas tank was half full, and had a few things left in the car.
No driver.
Battery is mounted in the trunk, at the left rear corner of the car.
It does have A/C from Classic Auto Air, so it is a newer style sanden compressor.

I was surprised it was only 3636lbs. 55% front, and 45 % rear.

Good information to know and thanks. Do you have AC in your car? thought I would ask since you are in Texas.....

Or how bout I see you two GP guys over in the north dallas area on my side

I would love to see yours too! I hardly see any old Mopars on the road in Dallas Maybe one day when I get my roadrunner (hopefully early next year) finished we can all meet up at a sonic or something! I used to live up there at Plano Pkwy & NDT but traffic was just awful going down town so I moved to the GP area. much easier now.

I drive mine as much as I can. This is big block weather when it is nice. Goodguys is coming in March as well. I think there is a cars and coffee in plano area, that is pretty good.

Do you guys have any good shops in the Dallas area that specialize in Mopar? Something like a transmission rebuild or rear end rebuild?

Sweet looking Charger. I like the scales idea as well.
Our local landfill dump has a weighbridge that I thought of using sometime soon.

Automatics, Plano Transmission comes highly recommended...They rebuilt mine...

Rear ends/4 speeds, I tackle them on my own usually.....

CC is the first Saturday every month.....Used to be an awesome show but these days it is a sea of new challengers, camaros, mustangs etc....It is only just a few minutes from my house but on my free weekends. I just cant get up at 5am to get a good spot to camp out for 5 hours anymore amongst a sea of new cars.....

I have never been, and sounds like I don't need to...

Not trying to deter you but that is what the show turned into unfortunately.
Go as a spectator first before you drive the charger over...

Weight sounds about right. I have weighed several of mine with the same racing scales over the years. The options add all up. My loaded 70 R/T S.E. is 4289 with only a 1/4 tank of gas & me not in it.
