It's not really a huge problem yet, but I'm trying to figure out seat belts for this project. I'm on the build up side of a 1971 satellite. I'm putting in Chrysler 300S seats. Already tackled the mount problem with adapter plates we fabricated.
My question is concerning seat belts. I would like to have 3 point retractable. Wanted to see what others may have done to address this. I know the stock 300 seat belts attach to the post which of course will not work in this case.

Appreciate any information or ideas.

Thanks

As you know, the '71 seat belts were retractable.... but I'm not sure what was up with the shoulder harness. I had a '73 Fury that was retractable & the shoulder harness was clipped up along the roof line & had a big-hole/little-hole manual click-in connection to the lap belt. I believe my '77 Cordoba was a true 3-point fully retractable seatbelt, so somewhere between '74 & '77 might be good cars to look at for seat belt options...Cordobas & late Chargers maybe?

I have the XVMotorsports 3 points. The housing has improved since XVEngineering took over. The retractor doesn't play well with the late model (89 FWD Daytona) buckets I am using. The seat housing closest to the door will not allow the retractor to face straight up. When feeding back, it needs guidance. You may not have this problem. But, they work. Do your homework.

Ordered and received the XV 3 points and rear seat belts. Have not installed yet but initial impression is very nice. I'll post again when installed.

Installed rear belts so far. I like them a lot. Go well with the 300S seats. Don't know about the fronts yet, hopefully soon.
