1970 Interior Stand Up Roadrunner

Was the stand up Roadrunner on the interior door panel an option in 1970? Or did folks just add them on their own? I've seen a couple of examples online and one at a car show.

Mine is on the passenger door, I am pretty sure that is factory location
 
They just referenced this on graveyard cars and it was on the passenger door.
 
I see a lot of pics of RR cars that have them on both doors, even the high dollar auction car sites.
 
Only on the passenger door in 70 was on the dash in 68/69 and 71-74 had it on the dash as a emblem
 
As others have said, it is factory standard on the passenger door only. I swear I must have OCD because it bugs me that the car is not "balanced" with one missing on the driver's door. I have thought about adding one there but have resisted it so far...
