Hi all, I'm considering swapping to the lokar throttle cable setup for the 68 satellite(440/rpm intake & demon carb) but I noticed they use a clevis-style connection at the pedal whereas mine is the simple ball-end style.....they say you have to use their pedal (expensive!) which I don't want to do. I know some of you use their setup how did you connect to your gas pedal? Lots of questions lately I know..trying to get all the info I can before plunking down the dough! Been there done that lol....thanks everyone

I'm using the Lokar throttle cable with the stock gas pedal.

I just removed the stock cable and installed the Lokar cable through the stock pedal hole and through the firewall.

Oh, ok...it didn't look like their clevis-end would fit through the hole in the stock pedal bracket...that's a good thing then thanks for clearing that up for me!

I'm using Lokar throttle cable too with stock pedal. No issues for install. Also used the kick down cable setup too. Works great.

Good luck

Thanks, that's my plan as well...they look so much cleaner

I also used the Lokar kick down cable.

the slant 6 throttle cables are longer and often time work well with higher intakes. im using one on a 440/mopar wedge intake/demon carb setup

Thanks for the info, I never woulda thunk it... I did go with the lokar stuff for this motor however, and I can say extremely easy to install and works perfect... I will definitely file that info away in the memory banks though!

Tagging on to this thread. For those of you who have already installed, was the 24 inch Lokar throttle cable long enough? By my measurements on my 73 Charger it should be but was just curious what you guys found.

Thanks.
