What did you do to your Mopar today?

I'm constantly cleaning up, as I work. It sucks.

I gotta go thru my front "super-tricks", to find the best pair. I have about a 1/2 dozen various sets.

Viola!! Found the pair I'm gonna use. Gotta break them down, and clean them up.

Got the tires and tubes off, and spent some time cleaning one of them. Needs one more round of cleaning to be nice enough.

Pulled the trans, driveshaft, and front 1/2 of the exhaust from the WO car. That work-of art exhaust system didn't have an hour on it....but it's gotta go. Starting the turn-around to make it back into a track car. I need a new trans, convertor, and shifter. The engine is ready for the install.

Still working on the driver rear quarter and trying to figure out this body work "stuff" . . .

replaced this whole quarter, and welded it at the bottom of this area - it's not quite rounded at the bottom like it needs to be - working on filling it . . .

And getting a couple coats of high build primer on the quarter to get it smoothed out . . . got a couple "challenging" areas that I'm struggling with . . . ARGH ! ! !

I'll try and tackle them one day at a time . . .

Got some more parts back from the powder coater today . . . getting ready for the rebuild . . .

Bumper brackets ( front and rear ), spring plates ( L & R ), and my fabricated transmission cross-member

Drove the Coronet to work the other day - passed the 1,000 mile mark since getting it back on the road in June.

Working on other people's stuff for a while, mostly 80's turbo cars.. Got an '86 Turbo Z CS I gotta finish up for pick up on the 17th hopefully, and a '91 Spirit RT that has been around too long and needs to get done and gone. Then get a drivetrain in an '87 Shelby Z for a buddy, fix the head on another buddy's '85 Turbo Z and replace front calipers on his '88 CSX-T.

Then I can get back to finishing the 2.5 TIII swap in my '89 Turbo GTC (down to wiring and peripherals now) and rebuilding the top end on my '72 D100 (factory 400). And I'll need to replace the right front spindle on my '93 D150 soon, along with some other maintenance.

Forgot Mopar 101 and struggled with the left side lug bolts on my '55 until I finally remembered they're left hand thread. It's been about 30 years since I've had a pre-1971 Mopar.

Got the scowl on the frame jig. Now he just has to weld her up, this might take awhile. Every seam an hole on the under side to be welded up.

Unpacking moving boxes filled with wrapped parts from my Charger. Took a break and started cleaning the hood. The car was in dry storage from 1991-2015 and in my new home since 2015. This picture is from 2015.

I was carrying a large box around the front of the car and my coat pocket somehow caught the front trim spear. The box I was carrying was just large and a bit heavy and pulled me forward and I couldn't hold my balance. Pulled the damn spear off.
It actually appears that the center 2 posts were already broken as they had some kind of adhesive on them that appears to have been holding it on. Those actually pulled some paint off. The front post is still there and the rear threaded post may still be ok. Sometimes I wonder if I'm meant to have this car. ugh. :(

Any more pictures?

I'll post newer pics after I have done more cleaning, polishing, and waxing. Car is complete and original, but not reassembled.
