79 300 wheels

Original 300 wheels are 15X6. I run them on the front of my drag car as they only weigh 13 lbs each with out all the trim - polished.

Crizila,
Thanks for the info on the wheel width. When I was looking at the car a few years ago, some where in the research it said the wheels were 15 x 7, never saw anything else saying otherwise. By the way, your 300 is one the coolest drag cars I've ever seen. Thanks again for the correct info. Bill (aka 79300)

This is one of mine, after plolishing: The dark grey painted surfaces will be getting painted matte, or semi-gloss black to make the polished surfaces stand out better.

I've always liked these wheels but have never been able to acquire any....at least not for what I thought was a reasonable price.

There aren't that many around.

Forgot to mention that these wheels are forged, not cast. That means that they are stonger and lighter than cast wheels. An interesting by product of that is that they also polish up to a great shine. Picture of the overall wheel. The shine is mirror like, but it is hard to capture on a smartphone picture.

And yes, original 300 wheels are 15X6.

I found some center caps with the 300 emblem in the center on eBay for 500.00 no thanks lol.

Here's mine if you haven't seen it on the welcome thread.

Well dog gone. How are ya. I've been scouring the internet for info on the 300 and saw yours in a few articles. Awesome ride man. Wish mine was that fast!

I used 15x8 chrysler style magnums from wheel vintiques

This is what I had on hand and am running on the 1964 Belvedere. The car has original paint and I have not decided if I will paint it. 318 push button trans 80,000 miles

That's the look I like. I saw those pic's before but couldn't find the again. They look great. What size tire are you running?
255's on the front and 275's on the back. They fill out the wheel wells nicely.

Thanks. I have new set of 255 Cooper Cobras, time for the Magnum 500s.
