whats up with these rear window clips! I have purchased two different sets of clips and neither
of them are like the originals? They were advertised as 68-70 b body rear window trim clips.
Im not concerned with them not being just like the originals but want to be sure which ones work correctly. Anyone have experience with the clips available

Maybe the ones on the car are not correct could someone post a pic of an original rear window trim clip?
Thanks

Steve,
I will take a picture of a NOS sample tomorrow and post along side of one of the reproductions that we ran years ago. Could you post a picture of what your working with? As you stated, unless your an original owner who knows the history of the car from day one, these things could have been changed out through the years.

Thanks Richard,
I will get a pic of the clips on it now. By just looking at clips on the net they look like the advertised clips for a dart but who knows.
Thanks Scott

Did you get what you need? I have the originals from my 68 and the reproductions I installed. They looked the same to me.

Scott,
Here is a picture of the NOS sample and the reproductions. The NOS is the black phosphate and the reproduction is the green zinc finish. It is kinda difficult to detect the differences in the colors, but the physical size and shape are identical. If you more detailed pictures let me know.

Thanks Richard,
Looks like the clips on the bee are wrong and the ones I bought are right.
Thanks again

Just because I found them while looking for something else. OEM off the 68 and the reproductions screwed in.

Yep I have the correct ones. By the way your car looks great!
Thanks Jim

another tip that has been important to me is to always test fit all the clips/chrome before painting. if this applys for you.
