Hello,
My name is Marco and i live in the Netherlands so that's why my english is not the best.
Anyway, i've got a 1966 Plymouth belvedere with a mopar 400ci in it. Stock it seemed to have around 205-250 hp, because it has pretty thick wear ridges i'm planning to bore it 0.02 inch over so i can install the KB240-20, this will increase my compression ratio from about 8.2 to 9.5. Does anyone know how many hp this will roughly gain me?

Best regards, marco

Lew said "roughly 12 horsepower". You might consider changing the cam too while you're at it. You could probably get another 10 horsepower out of a stock high performance 383/440 cam & lifters (no other change needed) or maybe 30-40 horsepower with an aftermarket cam/lifters/springs. Regardless, your engine will run a lot better once rebuilt.

Hello,
Thank you for the fast response everybody!!
@PurpleBeeper also thank you for the tip about the camshaft, I guess I'm going to contact compcams about which cam they recommend for my setup!
