Barrett-Jackson Scotsdale 2017

What was wrong with their spec caption operator?

Numerous mistakes-

62 linclon said 230 inline six?

there were several others I can't recall

60% chevy, 20% other gm, 15% ford, 5% other including Mopar.

Typical car show/swap meet distribution.

And of the Chevy most of them are Tri-Fives, Camaros or Vettes.
Very few Chevy that I like such as Chevy II or Early 60s Impala or Bel-Air

honestly I would be happy to see some chevy II or comet cyclones or early impalas or thunderbolts. anything interesting even if it isn't a mopar!

Or maybe a some early 60s Buick Wildcat or Olds F-85.

My dad use to have a nice 64 Comet Caliente. It was beautiful. He drove it quite a bit. If I came across one I would probably buy it. Nothing after 64 though. I dislike over/under headlights

I like the slant back 1950 Fleetlines and whatever else they were called from Chevy, Olds, Buick

$180k for a 1950 Chevy pickup "resto mod"!!!! Have people lost their minds!!!!

Yes

I tried watching it again last night. The 1st car across the block was a mid seventies Camaro. I quickly changed channels. Should have known better

So, again, I flip over to velocity.. just in time to see the billionth 69 z/28 going across the auction. I swear, there's more out there now than there were actually made new.

It's probably true. I know with the 2 dr 55 chev there are more now then ever from all the 4 to 2 door conversions. Gotta love the VIN # only stating sedan and not door # specific!

Firebirds too. Sometimes it seems like every mid 70s Firebird on the planet is for sale at an auction.

So I decided to watch a few. First up a 69 Camaro and then another Camaro and then another 65 corvette. AND THEN I CHANGED THE STATION.

I have grown tired of Barrett Jackson over the years. Its just not as exciting to watch anymore. But, last night as i was flipping through the channels i tuned in for the hell of it. I wound up watching for a few hours. That girl slapping the sold sticker on the windshields after the hammer dropped, holy hell!

Is that why every car show has so many tri-fives?
