I have a 62 Fury, trying to get on the road. The 413 Imperial motor is in. The paint is done. Now..to the interior. I have the original bench seat with middle arm rest, however, am thinking of upgrading to a newer seat, with a higher back. Seems like it would be safer of having a higher back. Im also thinking of a newer seat, that might have the seat belt (3 point harness style) built into the seat. Kinda like the 2006 Taho'es. But. the Tahoe seats do not flip forward. Any suggestions on what seat might be good idea that would have a higher back, or built in seat bealts. I will go bench or bucket.

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

the seat style choice is kind of a personal taste deal
I put ProCar Elite 1100 buckets in my 68 RR, "I love them"
BUT;
some people think it has to be era correct or purist OE stuff...
I do on some things too, but my build is more of a resto-mod
day 2, the best of many eras & years, not a restoration, not hacked up either,
more of my what IF of what Plymouth "should have done"

something that folds forward would be a plus,
truck or other SUV seats possibly, height of the seat is a real factor
custom bases/sliders will be in order...

good luck

Welcome from Canada, myself I use 2 dr dodge shadow seats,light, easy to find,comfortable and when recovered the look like A100 seats if you leave off the head rests,...kind of.
