anyone heading out to the Indy show and swap in March? it's only a couple hours from me I am going to take the ride this year and go check it out, I've never been.

Id love to attend that show, sounds great. I have to ask though, is that indoors? I know in March it can still get nasty in Indy.

Looks like it's going to be set up in a couple of the pavilions. JW Marriott right down the road if anyone's coming from out of town. I'm thinking I might go down Saturday and grab a room for the night, head back sunday.

i was thinking it's in the marsh pavillion. there's two adjoining buildings. never seen anything outside.

I've been going there for a number of years. A lot of the usual vendors, a fair amount of swap meet vendors. The usual amount of junk, but I always seem to find something I can't live without. (I've also spent a bunch a few times.) Something to do on a cold March day, usually run into a friend or two.

67coronet440, not sure which Marriott (I-70 and Shadeland?) as the fairgrounds aren't in the best part of town anymore. Security on the grounds are pretty good, and there are plenty of hotels/motels within 15-20 minutes of the place.

Not exactly sure, it was listed on the site as nearby hotels. Didn't pay attention to the details but it looked like a nice place..

This will be our fourth year attending as a vendor at the show. Like all of the shows, I never have the chance to leave the spaces and to shop around, but the guys that come with us always find some good deals. It draws a diverse group of vendors and spectators. All of it is inside. Even though it is marked as a Saturday and Sunday venue, a good number of the smaller vendors will leave out on Saturday afternoon, so I would suggest attending on Saturday. We make the drive from Georgia, approximately nine hours and each year it just gets better, hopefully this year will be even better than last year. I know many of the vendors attending, so if there is a particular vendor that you deal with that does attend this show, then I would suggest that you would contact them with any particular needs. We bring approximately a fourth of the inventory that we carry to Carlisle or The Nats and thankfully we are already getting emails and phone calls on preorders.

Like said above all inside and a lot of venders with restoration and race parts.

I have only missed the show two times since it started and the only draw back I have is they do not open till 9am and long line to get in and I drive 6 hours to the show.

Anyone know if it is open to the public Saturday and Sunday? Says vendor shows Saturday, not sure if that means everyone can go in or what

The show opens to the public on Saturday at 9:00 and runs til 5:00 and the Sunday times are from 9:00 to 3:00. My suggestions are to attend on Saturday if possible. Even though it is not supposed to take place, several of the vendors with smaller inventories will leave out on Saturday afternoon. Being a vendor, we are allowed to enter at 8:00 each day, and I know that the line for the general public entrance can become quite long on Saturday morning, so you may be standing in line depending upon what time you get there.
As I mentioned above, it is a very good show in my opinion. For us to basically drive 540 miles and 9 hours one way, it is worth the expense and time. Also, the weather the previous years has been iffy either coming or going, but looks like a really nice weekend weather wise. For anybody attending, we are located in the second building on the far right hand wall. We will be have a wide assortment of gaskets, fasteners, washer bottles, battery cables, etc along with a mix of used parts.
