This is the profile for the 68 to 70 B-Body post cars. As I mentioned earlier, I feel that the mohair channel liner will probably be the easier method of trying to do what your looking to accomplish.
im going to give some mohair liner a try looks like they used that on some other cars to repair window track guides. ill post back if its successful for others to see.
The mohair channel liner is much easier to work with and is more pliable than the typical glass channel run. Unless you can locate the correct profile, it is probably not going to yield the results that you are looking for. It may work, but then again, you will probably need to modify it significantly. Nothing is easy for these old cars. There is also a "black moleskin" channel liner available as well with an adhesive backing. With each passing month, we are finding it tougher to purchase most of the original channel runs for these older Mopars. The original vendor for Chrysler had kept it available and they are now telling us that the tooling to produce it is no longer usable and they will be dropping it from their inventory.
