NOTE: A word to the wise... NEVER replace just one Torsion Bar! ALWAYS - BOTH! (T/B's are a torsional, twisting spring), and an old Mopar - will have a well-worn set. If yours are scratched, nicked, gouged, (hammered-on), or worse - they should be replaced. There are many who will say: "I've had a 1957 blah-blah-blah...etc. etc....and never had any problem with a torsion bar..." Or: "Well-worn torsion bars, (especially the six-cylinder bars), are perfect for V-8 motors, in a drag car!" (They only go 1/4 mile), or so, and make slow turns, right???!!! Your choice, Gang!
