I am currently doing some online window shopping for a brake kit for 1967 Plymouth Belvedere and saw that 4 Wheel Online is selling two kinds of OEM Front Standard Disc Brake Kits. They are selling two options: The Drum to disc brake conversion kit with 4-piston cast iron calipers; non-power and the Drum to disc brake conversion kit with 4-piston cast iron calipers; power. What should I get?
 
The answer in part lies with how radical a cam you're running. If you're not pulling enough vacuum at idle then the man brakes are a better choice.
 
I've used Wilwood brakes on many builds, without issue. I recently put a set of fronts on my road runner. They squeal like hell. I've used 3 sets of pads and about everything available to quiet them. No luck. I'm gonna replace them with something more oem.

It's so random when that happens, the brembos on my SRT squeal like a pig no matter which pads I use
 
Go through Summit. Much cheaper
 
I bought mine from Summit. Got the Right Stuff kit. Be careful of the back spacing cause I didn't have mine quite right and ended up not being able to fit my wheels on with the back disc brakes on because of clearance. Went back to the drums on the back and just used the power set up on the front. Everything works fine - it's just the expense of buying the 4 wheel setup and only being able to use the fronts.
