Is this repairable? What's the proper name for this?

I believe it's a sail panal. I wish I could get those for my 72, I really like the look. It's worth a shot, secure a backing material and try an epoxy system. What have you got to lose.

Yup, sail panel. Unfortunately, these suffer greatly from heat and UV exposure that make them extremely brittle. I have several that are in that state with broken corners or cracks. Not sure if you can repair because the plastic is so deteriorated the repair may not bond to the panel and it may break again elsewhere even if you repair it. Don't even look at it funny or it may crack.

I wish someone would reproduce these.

I was thinking at one time Just Dashes was repairing pieces like this. I'm probably wrong, but it might be worth giving them a call. Good luck.

We fixed a dash in a TA a while back. Ordered a dash repair kit and shot it with a texture similar to box liner for a pick up. Looked very good. The dash was shot. That saved it

I would suggest getting some two-part epoxy, the white kind for underwater repairs, and shape some of that into a new corner. It takes about 20 minutes to set and them you can etch in the vinyl pattern.

i have a couple tan ones if you need one let me know which side
