I removed this carburetor from a running 360/727 - back on January 23, 2017 (less than 3-weeks ago).

You may well-be "Kay-Rect!" (sir). Thanks! "rumblefish360" Jeg's shows this with the: "Manufacture's Part Number 1412", as a "Secondary Type Air Valve" I see the rod from the Primary Circuit, connecting the two "Butterflies" - in the Secondary Circuit. That's an AVS (I thought), as I don't see any Discharge Nozzles, in the secondaries. Hmmmm....?
AFB (Aluminum Four Barrel). Carter started this series in 1957, to 1971.
AVS (Air Valve Secondary). Used from 1966 thru 1971. Features spring loaded air valve above secondary bores.
Edelbrock produces new AFB's & AVS carburetor with minor changes. Edelbrocks version of the AFB is called their Performer Series. Their AVS version is called Thunder Series.

it is an AFB type carter. the edelbrock AVS's, and all mopar and chevrolet factory AVS's had an adjustable air valve similar to a choke blade attached to the carb top vs the weighted "air valves" in the carb body for AFB's.

Oh, none of the Carter/Edelbrock carbs have the squirter nozzle in the secondary side. IF your crafty, you can add it.
