Hi all,

New to the b-body scene but picked up a '67 Satellite, has a 440 and discs up front plus chassis stiffening bars.

Looking to go with a pro touring style look. Larger rims (17/18?) and some lowering maybe a Martz back half. Car came with a set of 440 Stage IV heads but motor isn't setup for them...

Anyone live on the Peninsula in the Bay Area (or anyone else around here)? Lookin to meet up and see what mods are being done and chat about time/work etc. I see a lot of great posts but sometimes it's just easier to get an idea of scope in person.

Any b-body meet ups?

Thanks!
Lucas

Hey, Howyadoin. My best advice to you? Get out of that state while you still can or you'll regret it!

Welcome from another Satellite owner (66)in Ct.
San Fran is one pricey place to live!

Welcome. There is an all Mopar get together this Saturday. Not real close to you, but is supposed to stop raining. Feb 11,2017. 1100 AM. 2798 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, Ca. If you take 101 South to 85 South exit ECR not a bad ride. PM me if you can make it. I'll have this.

Is this a regular thing? I'm going out of town this weekend but wold have loved to shoot down. Santa Clara isn't that far away, although without overdrive maybe it is...

Thanks for the info!

No, not regular

Currently working in SF. I'm close to Reds Java House on the Embarcadero. If you're in the city let me know i'd love to take a look at your car.
I know it's not a B body but I picked up this 1965 Chrysler 300 over in Hayward and am terrifying the local San Francisco Prius crowd. The local gas stations love me. Plan is to drive it cross country back to Mississippi in the spring.

Wow! You drive that in the City?

I do drive it in the city. It takes up the whole lane and hangs over on most parking spaces.

Thanks for the welcome all. When I pull it back out of the garage I'll take some pics.

Right now I'm measuring for new wheels and tires. Trying to decide if I want to buy my mini tub wheels now, or just ones that fit and then mini tub, narrow reared and buy those later... Not enough time and I'd hate to have it inoperable for a long time due to a pending "project". That was the reason I got rid of my Cobra replica. Always another big and costly project and just tired of endless downtime...

Welcome, I lived in Montara, north of Half Moon Bay for 30 years. I miss Harry's Hofbrau on El Camino Real in RWC. Unlike some, I still love California. As long as you stay clear of politics and have a local Sheriff who respects the 2nd Amendment, it's a great place to live. Where else can you snow ski, water ski and surf all in one day?
