Who is the best to deal with for 66/67 Dodge Coronet parts. Is there a " Joe Suchy" for 66/67 b body's out there?
 
Depends on what ya need. If it isn't mechanical....it's like looking for parts for a Tucker.

Just need a new fuel tank rubber elbo and just don't like dealing with classic or year one.
 
Old Mopars are not like Mustangs, Corvettes, or Camaros - no such thing as a one-stop go to place for anything you need. Heck, in a lot of cases for 66/67 B-bodies you will be lucky to find some of what you need at all. When I bought my GTX about 2000 I spent the next 18 months scouring every old junkyard in the state stripping parts off of cars for mine and also shopping Ebay. I got chiggers, chased by barn yard roosters and junk yard dogs, chewed out by yard owners, poison ivy - Jeeezz. Good luck with the search.
 
Good luck in your endeavor but all the parts you could possibly want are sitting right next to that big white elephant with One pink eye and one Blue Eye

I am parting out a 1966 Coronet sedan, so I would be happy to help out.
 
If you are going to buy any fuel filler rubber elbows buy Gates parts instead of the reproductions offered. I have had several of the reproduction elbows begin to leak within a year or two. I can get you a p/n if needed. Also, the pinch clamps can be had at McMaster-Carr.
 
That's where I got all my fuel parts, they have a yard as well and sent me the stuff they don't repop for 66-67.
 
When messing with that filler system....buy the best quality parts, and glue all the joints when you assemble. Use REAL clamps.
 
1) Do NOT glue them, that is just silly.
2) Pinch clamps are real clamps and will not fail.
3) Use Goodyear or Gates hose, DO NOT use the reproduction parts.
 
I've bought my fuel elbows from Yogi's street rod hot / rod parts.

IIRC they are $18, but shipping is almost the same, so it's almost an incentive to buy 2 at a time.

I found them after refusing to pay $80 for a repro.
 
I've had similar experience with repopulate heater hoses. I had some that get hard and start cracking after several months
