whats your budget and what level of restoration do you expect for said budget?

I have been tracking 69 R/T verts since 2002. In that time, I've acquired about 80 VINs. Of those cars, about 30, in my estimation, are even roadworthy. Of those 30, I can think of about 5 of the 440 cars and two or three of the Hemi cars that have been properly restored. There are some nice ones out there but not restored.

Finding a restored one is possible but it is a very small sample from which to choose. Do you have a realistic expectation on the price of a restored one?

Thanks for the responses guys, I am aware of there rarity and I am looking for a mid to high #2 grade restored car with a budget in line with Hagerty or NADA values.

There was one on ebay recently (about 15 times it was listed), in Worcester massachusets, I know the car, its at a dealership and I think they are in the $32K range, I wouldn't pay $12K for that car, it needs $50K in resto work. Mud everywhere, it needed frame rails, had purple piping on seats, its been around for sure. I seen one other on ebay recently and that one was in the 40K range, much more car for the money, but also not what I would call great.

A friend of mine has one that is in the process of getting restored, I think he is $50K in not counting the car was a gift to him from his uncle and he hasn't touched the driveline yet, but they are doing it right and last time I seen it the body was done, interior was 90%, but we are getting old and stuff doesn't happen as fast as it used to.

Ill bet if he were to sell that car he would want 6 figures, but I know he paid some good money for some nos quarters a while back out of Canada (he drove up to get them personally).

Tough car to fall in love with that one.

I have a 69 Roadrunner matching number convertible that we may be interested in selling. It is in #1 condition. Full restoration completed last year by a mopar only restoration shop. Driven 20 miles since restoration. All original and nothing was spared in the resto we did. Correct paint markings, overspray, etc...Parts were retored by the best of the best. It is likely the nicest RR convertible on the planet IMO. Absolutely perfect. Took best of show at the Mini Mopar Nationals and we will be bring it to Nationals this year.
PM me if interested.

Don't we all. Good luck. Nicest one I saw was at Mecum Kissimeee Welborn I think. Get your wallet. Perfect Parade duty. Reno.
