skull art

In the 1980's when Cody was wandering the hills about 5 miles from the house, he found this old right hand side mule deer shed and kept it 'til this day.

Now he's made a mirror image left side and mounted them both to a skull with two different sides. The left is a modern contemporary version to go with the steel reproduction and the right side of the skull is a more natural version to go with the natural antler.

Pretty nice mule deer. Live it would have measured over 32" wide.

Very very cool Jim, tell Cody nice work.

Here is a free standing, full size replica of a buck shed he found. Hand formed from steel. He spent 9 months looking for the second side after he found the first side. They were 3/4 of a mile apart, separated by a ridge and canyon.

Did I say these were all made out of exhaust tubing? Another sculpture about 5' tall out of exhaust tubing.
