72 Road Runner ???????????

I have a couple questions about my 72 Road Runner. First off on the fender tag there is a Y16 sales bank code. What exactly does that mean? And also is there anything else on the tag that is of any significants.

It has a cool V.I.N. xxx440!
That is if it's not an 8 or a 6.

In an attempt to compete with the output of Ford and GM, Chrysler would build cars whether dealerships needed them, or were full. If a car was built with no place to go, they would be stamped Y16 and sent to a large holding yard of cars until I was needed by a dealer. Not an important option really.
