i have it out to restore, what is used to coat out side with?i have the foam kit for inside. thanks
Did you restore the control brackets? The vent on the far right looks rusty a bit....The bracket from the front cover to the cowl is originally natural metal finish and the two nuts were originally black zinc.I must've gotten lucky then. I took mine apart and gave it a good cleaning in the bath tub, looks brand new !

No problem...That front rusty looking bracket was the only one I did not touch. Not sure why honestly. Every other bare metal piece was blasted then clear coated. The front cover was powder coated black. Cables move like butter !
Thanks for the stamp offer, I'll Def let you know on that one !
thanks all, where do i find a new resistor panel for thanksNo problem...
Not a fan of powder coat just due to the inability to touch it up...
If your able to reach it and it is not pitted badly....tape off around it and spray some of this and rub the surface rust off...may take several tries but this stuff works wonders....without blasting, wheeling, etc....and doesnt damage the substrate

Cool stuff, thanks ! I power coated a lot of things on the interior, stuff that is covered and out of sight. Heater cover, seat frames, etc ..... should not need any touch up on those !No problem...
