Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker of this site, and constantly utilizing the tips and tricks that many have posted here. I own a 68 Charger that I've had for 6 years now that runs most of the time, but as usual it has it's hiccups. I can't wait for many more years of great help from you all!

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal

Welcome from Pa., glad you swiped that man card. I doubt there is a problem that hasn't been fixed by the guys here-ask away.
Oh, and pics are a requirement..........:D:welcome:

Thanks for the replies. My main issue now isn't a go/no go situation, but I can't seem to find the connector that plugs into the back of the headlight switch. I currently just have the spade connectors plugged individually into the back of the switch. That works fine, I just want to clean it up.

The next issue is the fuel system. I have a Mallory 140 pump mounted slightly higher than my tank so it keeps seizing on me. It's easy enough to pull it out and unstick it but I'm thinking of upgrading to a Tanks Inc setup with the in tank pump. I just know it'll turn into a decent size project because I want to redo my fuel supply and return lines as well since I'm currently running all rubber fuel lines (I'd like to bend my own hard lines).

Welcome to the site! Introduce yourself also over at the dodgecharger.com site. Lots of the Charger owners here are also members over there. Good looking ride. Original Black plates?

Dan

Welcome aboard! You have come to the best site for Mopar knowledge. Ask any and all questions and you will get lots of help. This place has given me so much help, I can't even thank everyone enough!

Welcome to the site from nearby Escondido. Lots of great info here, hope to see you at some local shows and cruises this year.

Thanks all!

Dan, the plates are original plates from '68, but not original to the car. A couple years ago I went through the process of finding unregistered plates and an unused registration sticker from 1968, then going through the Hell that is the CA DMV to get them registered to my car. Now I believe you can just apply for the black and yellow vanity plates, but I still like having the correct era plates on there. It was worth it in the end. Also, dodgecharger.com has helped me through some good projects... great folks over there!

I did the YOM black tag too. 8 trips to DMV. Can you make Van Nuys in April for Spring Fling? Great gig. Track, Cruise, Ahow, Swap etc.

Love the orange! Reminds me of the Bengal Charger, which is one of my favorite all time Mopars!

I have a light switch connector that I cut off of an old harness I have. The connector is in good shape except the plastic latch that locks it on the switch is broken. If you can't find one that is intact, let me know and you can have this one. Here is a couple pics.

Thanks Sixpactogo, I will definitely take that connector if you are offering. If you can send me a message and let me know what you want for it I can get you my email address and mailing address. Thanks again! (one of many problems solved!)
