Looking for info on Header fitment for a 4 speed car. I looked at Schumacher's site and they have a disclaimer saying there is interference on a A-833 car. Also checked out TTI, but their site doesn't have (or I missed it) anything specific about it.
I figured it would be best to open this up to people who have installed them instead of asking a salesperson.
I'm not set on either of these companies and if there is another company/part number that works with out modifying anything, let me know. Thanks in advance for the input.

TTI or Dougs should have a direct fit header for your application.

Here's my 2-cents. I've run and installed all of these headers myself on a 440 4-spd '70 Roadrunner.
1. Hedman 1-5/8" primary 1-piece - on the car now, fit great, not too tough to install
2. Hooker 2" primary all 8 slip tubes - ground clearance issues, but fit good
3. Hedman 2" primary 1 slip tube each side - ground clearance issues, but fit good

You wouldn't happen to have a part number on what you are running now do you?

The real question is what engine family (LA, B, RB), which cylinder heads, and type of bellhousing (stock, Lakewood, etc). I have some TTI's on my current project ( 400 based 511, Victor heads) and although they are tight fitment is great after some bellhousing clearancing ( Lakewood 15535).

I can't remember if Propwash's car was a 4 speed or not, you might ask him.

440, 906 heads and a stock bellhousing

Ditch the factory linkage and hydraulic, any and all issues are gone! I have TTI's on my 383, fit great, but the coating is slightly better than being kicked in the head.

TTIs on my 65 Belvedere with B engine and 5 speed with mechanical clutch linkage. Overall, went on real easy, one small dent for the pitman arm, mainly because it wasn't an RB.

Debated between Doug's and TTi. Both make an AWESOME fitting header. I finally went with Doug's ceramic coated 1 7/8", Remflex exhaust gaskets, and Stage 8 locking fasteners. Doug's fit like a glove, even with power steering, no issues. IMOP, don't waste time and money on Hookers

I'm looking for headers for ak RB in a 68 coronet auto.
I was set on Dougs,
But 2" primaries seems aweful big to me.
Is the 2" primary a concern to other members here?

I like hp manifolds.

I have used TTI, I like the headers not their exhaust systems, I like dougs too, but I am not sure I ever used them with 2" tubes? I don't remember them being that large...

The RB Dougs are only available with a 2" primary and a 3 1/2" collector.

I have TTi headers and full exhaust on a 440 in my Charger and also on a 400 in my Road Runner. Both 4-speed cars. Both fit great. TTi headers on my Duster, not so great. Had to dent in #7 tube, and modify the z-bar.
