I like this site, the mods seem like good people who are vested in our common mopar affliction. Kiwi seems like a stand up guy, hell he's an electrician, what's not to like? lol I like Jimi too! he makes me laugh and is quite a character and artist. I hope this all passes quietly as I hate to lose either one of these members!
Kiwi, I've seen a few different parts of the world but sadly, never south of the equator. My tolerance for flying seems to be limited to a trip to Hawaii at 12 hours or so. I may never get to see your beautiful country but the wife and I talk about it. Maybe some day. If you're ever travelling to my neck of the woods, you'll have a place to stay!
Now back to colours...not a big fan of these colours either, but I appreciate that others keep them looking like they were when new. They've grown on me over the years. I recall seeing a plum crazy challenger or cuda when I was 16 and thought ewww, a purple car. A lime green 71 superbee got me hooked on mopars a few years later. Didn't like the colour, but it sure caught my eye as it ripped up and down the streets. They really stood out, but not just because of the colours, but also because of the styles and sounds. I think it was an all around great package and marketing plan. I don't get the fascination with pink though. I just couldn't drive it no matter how beautiful it looks. Okay may once in a hemi or 440-6 car .
I like them all, just at varying degrees for different reasons. I appreciate everyone's taste in our mopars and the tremendous effort it takes to get them their. I still get comments about buying my 99 yellow sport ram as to "why yellow?" It really was because I couldn't find a black one at the time lol, but it has really grown on me and I love yellow sport rams more than any other colour. Yellow super bees have the same affect on me, just a great combo for my taste!
