So I bought this old 440 six pack a few weeks back. Been looking at the numbers and I'm starting to think it's an original A12 set up. What do you think?

I believe the original, original a12 set up used the edelebrock manifold with the holly carbs. It was a little later the Chrysler starting making their own. I have an original, original set up.

Looks like Edelbrock script on the front of the intake. Mopar used cast-iron, afterwards.

some 70 models got the aluminum intake to use up left over stock.
Looks real nice.

A correct A12 440-6 intake is aluminum that says Edelbrock on it.
Later one used iron manifold. Try a magnet on yours and see if it sticks.

Friend of mine worked at a Chrysler Plymouth dealer in 1969/70 and he said they replaced several eddie's. The manifold heat coming from head burned through on several manifolds. That 1019 is April 1969 carb production date. I see it's on Ebay.

Great find- a LOT of penetrating oil in your future!!LOL

The date codes that are visible in your photos make sense as far as the A12 production window goes - Both 1019 & 1149 are early to mid April 1969. List #4391 is for a 1969 center carb for a M/T car. List #4394 is for a 1969 rear carb (you don't have a pic of the front carb's list # and date code.) The float bowls have the correct slotted screws and the mounting bolts for the carbs to the intake look correct as well. Looks like an original set-up! Nice find...

Think he sold the carbs and manifold on ebay. $2700 cha ching, ding ding, ding, jackpot!
