A while back, I saw a pictures of a low profile stereo (2 speakers) replacement for the center dash speaker. Has anyone ever bought one?

If so, please post a link to who sells it.

Just be sure to check the rms watt ratings no matter how cool or improved it looks. Rms power speaks to the speakers true handling capability

I bought the speakers from Turnswitch. I think you want the 4 ohm speaker set up. They offer both. I haven't pulled mine out of the box yet but I can if you want a picture.

RC sent ya a email. I would check to make sure the ohms needed for that Radio just incase they do something different than my guy did. I had a thread on this a month or 2 ago. Probably where you saw it. Have you used the tranny fluid meme yet?

You can use just about any radio with just about any speakers. Most compatibility issues is with the wiring and how it's done.

As mentioned above, I would also recommend 4 ohm speakers.

Yes, it would be compatible. I bought a plate (maybe from this site?) that fits into my 4"x10" hole on top my dash. I put in two 3-1/2" (I think) round speakers into that bracket & it bolts right up in my dash.....stereo sound with one speaker hole. I've got an old Clarion CD player installed in my dash & I ran extra wires for door/rear speakers once I figure out where I want to mount them.

RC here's the pictures for you.

I used the original bracket and wired up two Rockford Fosgate 4 ohm 3.5" 2 ways. Works great!

I had my original rebuilt by the Speaker Exchange in Florida, they did a great job. Just thought I would mention if you want to stay original. Its a bit pricy, but I thought it was worth it.
