i bought some Nos 1/4 emblems from brads NOS that are advertised to fit 67s and the rock on the body line. The original one fits perfect. Looking for anybody who was able to make these work or anyplace to get new ones.

Nobody makes the correct ones for that body style. I had to bend mine but be carefull because they will crack. the letters fit ok but the slash doesn't. I didn't want to try to bend that. I'll post some pics tonight if I don't go to the track.
 
The ones you have are for a 69 Charger or Coronet RT, a Restorered set are going to run you big money like 1000.00 for a pair. correct number is 283.
 
So I am pretty much SOL. Where would I get a 1000 dollar pair ?
 
I searched the original part number and it shows the original is superceded by the 69 part number.

Unfortunately you'll find those parts the same place as most of the other 66-67 parts: in your dreams..........

The cross Reference is wrong as you found out for sure. You have two choices you can pay giant money and get quickly I have two sets that i have fo rsale to a guy in Sweden and he going to pay thru the nose, be patient and wait. But if your patient you can get a used set at carlile this summer. if your willing to wait Ill find you a set then you can have them rechromed and painted.
 
these guys overseas pay big and i need the money for my 67. I dont want to sell these to a member for this kind of money im embrassed to ask so much. But this asshole in Sweden is a jerk so he is going to get donged. I have a really good plater in Philadelphia who is unreal how good he is.
 
Sorry I forgot to post pics of mine that I bent to fit. As you can see the letters fit ok but the slash is still lifted.

I may be parting a '67 R/T in the next couple of weeks. I may have one off my other R/T. When I removed them one side turned out to be a grille emblem with the mounting pin shaved off. And when they bent it they did crack it.
 
I have a set if your interested in them. Guys I need help on what would be a fair price, I was lucky as heck my car had a complete set of all 3 nos still in box under pass seat when I bought it

yes I still have them one new in box and one that came off my car in very good shape
