Was going to cover the concrete pillars in the garage with some thick reddish smooth rubber mat material I saw at Ace Hardware. Comes in different thicknesses and is a little pricey but sure to prevent a disaster.
But alas, before my plan was realized I found my driver's door up against a pillar. Don't know if it was the wind, a ghost, or stupid me.
An inch and a half vertical "gash" right smack dab in the middle of a recent Bahama Yellow one stage acrylic enamel (with hardener).
Time to get out the touch up paint that may or may not match. Found a German product thst might help me out called "Quixx".
I will wait to begin repairs as soon as I recover from the shock and explore the remedies/options available.
