phishing email saying there a problem with my PayPal account

Received an email saying problem with my PayPal account.
Spelling was ok but capitals and lower case letters mixed.
PayPal always will use your name.

Simple tip for everyone, never click a link in an email, simply type the web address in your search bar

Or hover your mouse pointer over the link to see what the web address looks like, you can figure out pretty easily if it looks legit. Almost always isn't.
 
Yeah, i get paypal acct. trouble bogus emails. Ive never had any stinking paypal account.
Morons.
 
Yeah, I also gotten a couple emails recently from my "banks". Regions Bank was one. I didn't see the other in my trash. I don't have any accounts at Regions was my first clue. Humorous.
 
To all the naysayers out there bagging on PayPal....they are much better and safer than any other system I have used over the years.
Anything goes wrong you get a refund. Can't be safer than that....not even a tinfoil hat will save your cash.:icon_fU:
 
I agree with kiwigtx about paypal. I just need to get it away from my wife lol.

Ahh yes.....forgot about that one single issue with PayPal....the Wife finding out. :lol:

I got caught a few times doing that. And it was all spent on my 'mistress' ....the GTX.:D
 
I've been using PayPal for twenty plus years. They've helped me out numerous times, otherwise I would have been out some money. I pay through them every chance I get. I have it set for "payment after delivery". After two weeks they take it out of my account. If there's a problem with the delivery or the purchase, you just make a report with them. If you're the seller they help you out if the sale goes south. They handle the negotiations with the buyer or seller.

I'm glad they're there to use or the buying and selling world would be real bad.

haha... yeah my mistress too, the Coronet got some new carpet for Christmas. :thumbsup: But that damn "pay in 6 months" is gonna hit hard in the next couple months. :mad: Christmas and new iPhone coming due soon. :BangHead:
