Droopy rear leaf springs

Well, off hand that looks OK to me.
Maybe someone else can say different.
I'm not under a car to check.
But you know that "shackle" has to move back and forth as the car rear goes up and down.
So it's going to go forward when the rear goes up under........ what's the word "jounce"?
(Or "rebound" maybe.)
Back in the day people would put longer ones on to raise the rear.
Messed things up in the driveline.
I'm guessing it might change the pinon angle.

Love a good disclaimer! ... and the more I take on board what you have experienced the more I don't think I need new leafs.

I was more questioning the angle of the bit I have circled in red, not sure the professional name, something cool no doubt, I am thinking that this should be more vertical which would bring the rear end up?

The angle of your shackle looks just right. It has good range of motion in both directions. You want it angled to the rear. Mopar springs have an amount of arch. The picture appears to show some degree of "sag" evidenced by the bend in the rear portion of the main leaf.

local spring shop for heavy trucks rearked and added a leaf to mine 300 bucks he said mopars made springs to long to try to get better ride

Alex, what size tires & rims are you running our your car?

Got the air shocks in today and loved the height at 75psi and the difference in handling was superb ... but after I took the family for a test spin one of the shocks started leaking from the sleeve. I'll bring it back etc but is that just the risk you take with this cheaper solution? Is there a better shock I can get ? as it seems to be either Gabriel's or Monroes for this solution.

Add-a-leaf. Takes a little more work but it looks stock and makes a big difference.

You can get them at a lot of places, not just Summit.

X 2 Don't worry that they are not the full 2.5' wide. I have used these many times, and always get about 1.5" lift. I have had them on cars that I have had for years. They hold up well, and won't let you down. I have thought in the past that 66 & 67s needed a little higher stance.
