8 out of 10 bulbs did not light up when I go it. Ordered replacement LEDs, wrong style, so replaced with LL57 bulbs. Could only find 8 in autostores around town. Figured I'd get correct LEDs and redo soon.

0 out of 10 light up now.

Fuse is good/new.

Is there something else I should be checking, all connections/wires/harnesses looked good to the eye.

Headlight switch works for head and tail.

I'm not electrical so would appreciate any pointers hoping it is something simple and obvious.

Thanks in advance.

It may be the dimmer control portion of the headlight switch. Rotating in one direction will turn on the interior dome light, turning the opposite direction will dim and turn off the dash lights. My guess is the contact on the rheostat is not making a good connection

thinking out loud.

Dimmer system is protected by two fuses... the one that feeds the parking system that I can't recall which one is ( 20 amps ) and the one what feeds JUST the dimmered system which is one of the top ones... ( 3 or 5 amps, can't recall ). Do you have parking lights ?

next. AS FAR I KNOW, the Led bulbs don't react to the dimmer, they only go full on or off. There is a chance the dimmer is not on full on ?

you can bypass the dimmer wheel just to isolate where is the problem. The fuse box got 2 enclosured prongs, one is batt the other one is acc. Jump from the BATT one to the fuse of the dimmered system ( the one of the tops which I can't recall if is the left or right, but is the one with an orange wire on back ) and check if cluster lights up... if does, the problem is on dimmer wheel or headlights itself, since the dimmer wheel takes it source internally from the parking system

sorry, just noticed you said tail lights are working so it means parking system is working... but maybe rheostat still not being sourced ?... once again, thinking out loud

I changed the 5 amp fuse and all was fixed

My cluster required the # 57 bulbs.
