anyone has done this before,i got lever from firewall and loose from side of kick panel,now how how slide cable out of lever? thanks

Hey Johhny,
You unhook the cable end at the splitter under the car then you can push the pedal down and you will see the clip that holds the pin in. It will be seen seen through the round hole in the assembly. once the keeper is removed the pin will come out the backside of the assembly.

thanks,but i want to do it from inside the car,not underneath,i should have made that clear. thanks
You can't get enough slack in the cable to get the pin out without disconnecting the cable at the other end
