I am switching over to efi on my 69 Roadrunner. I have decided to use either tanks inc. efi fuel tank with an intank pump or a Robbmc surge tank. Has anyone used either on a b body?

Any recomendations or pics would be helpful.

If I use a surge tank I need to by a new gas tank since mine needs replacement. Any recommendations to which ones on the market are recommended ?

I went with tanksinc. The black is 1/8" foam I added to deaden it.

Where are you in Canada. If you go the surge tank route and opt for an new tank, I have one brand new in the box you may be interested in. Maybe PM me.

Texas69bee,

Have you installed it yet. How well does the sending unit work?

I have installed it. The sending unit seems to work fine. I mocked up a box to the size needed (same dimensions as if it were sitting in the tank) and made any necessary adjustments to the rod before installing. Also hooked it up to the wire harness to watch gauge and float position. The resistor portion of the sending unit seems to be a little stiff but I think that will loosen a bit after its fully submerged in gas. I haven't had a full tank in it yet and the resistor is at the very top.
