my rear carb on my 6 pack is spewing fuel like a fountain out of the top I've pulled it apart and replaced all the gaskets as well as a few parts checking to make sure they matched with the gaskets and parts before. So I'm a bit confused any help please?

needle and seat has dirt in it, or wrong float setting, or too much fuel pressure.

If it just started needle and seat or float stuck.

Yep, most likely dirt in needle & seat or a sunk float.....but 15psi fuel pressure would do it too. It works like a toilet bowl. The float goes up, closes the needle & seat and stops more fuel coming into the carb.

I literally just fixed this same situation on my 6 pack last night. Tried cleaning needle and seat to no avail. Swapped out for a new one and problem solved. The carbs aren't even a year old too. I think the modern fuels are tough on the carburetor components.

If you're running fuel with any percentage of Ethanol, yes. It's the enemy of any rubber fuel system components.

I totally agree! I had one of the new fuel inlet needle and seats go bad in a couple of months. It was one with a rubber pad that seals to the seat. Made my car burn your eyes rich. Switched to an old set and it has been running great ever since.

It had a problem but not as bad as when I switched to new parts.I've switched needles and floats for new ones straight out the box. And it's spewing fuel switched back to the old one and the problem is just as bad as the new ones now. I even switched needles from carb to carb. I'm at a complete loss.

Turned down fuel pressure as far as I can
Has to be a float issue? If the needle and seat are new and clean i'd think the only variable would be the floats are stuck down or sunk.

edit. i see you changed the floats. Did they move freely?

First carb is kinda smoking but it's been doing that I have no clue why but I put new gaskets in that one all of em.

With all you've done it sounds like too much fuel press.

I turned down the fuel pressure regulator as far as it will go. I have the Holley red electric fuel pump set up. I turned the adjustment screw as far as it will go

Found out what it was for those that are interested the bowl was messed up some how. So I'm ordering a new bowl. Thanks for the help
