Post your 10 second combo's

I dont have any problem sharing the build I have it posted here somewhere but, who knows where it is. So here it is again.
511"
400 factory block
Main girdle
ARP main studs
Eagle 4.25" stroker crank
Eagle Rods(new bolts)
Ross Pistons
(The above rotating assembly was in a C/Gas car previously with 211 passes on it. All was checked and reconditioned, new rod bolts
installed. The block was not the same block that was used there. It is a fresh 400 block that was line honed, bored and torque plate
honed, rotating assembly was then all balanced and NEW main girdle was installed.)
Clearances are .0025-.0030/.0030
Clevite bearings and Total Seal rings
All balanced of course
Indy Maxx oil pump
Compression ratio is a bit over 12-1
Comp Roller .730/.730 lift 284/288 @ .050
Comp lifters(new)
KB Gear Drive
Indy 440-1 heads with full CNC port flow [email protected](new valves and guide liners installed and honed)
1.6 ratio T&D rockers
Pac Springs, retainers, locks and caps
New 2.25/1.88 Manley Valves (11850-8/11813-8)
ARP Head studs
Trick Flow pushrods
Fel Pro Head gasket
Indy 400-14-3 Intake, Dominator flange

Have you been reading the plugs? I'd also bet some more timing could get that 10 flat! Advance 2* after your first pass.Have a look at the plugs and advance & repeat:D

I have to agree with you on that. I understand regarding the timing Just a single test run last week. I actually needed to also just get the feel of it it's been since November. So thats what we did more to follow after the gear change.

You need that 4.10 gear more timing and it's an easy 9 sec car, your combo should go 9'60's at least when sorted. Do you use an A/F gauge ?

I'll post my ongoing build, incomplete as of now but will update. I'm thinking it should run 10's in my 67 coronet

440 based 505" stroker
Eagle crank and rods diamond flat top pistons
Victor 440 heads
Cam will be custom grind solid roller from LSM, Not sure on the specs yet letting the builder handle that
Cope pro race 727
Strange s60 with 4.10 gears

What do you guys think

Should run 10's pretty effortlessly if the cam has any lobes on it.

Belt driven water pump, solid roller, guessing 3700-3800 give or take. Planning on EFI fitech 1200 most likely

I have the 440 with spray in the Charger right now while the 511 gets the new roller in it. Right now the 440 runs 11.30's on motor but add the spray and......
Ran a 10.43 @ 127.65. My 60 is 1.415. Pretty happy with just a throw together 440. May not get in a rush to put the 511 back in.

Sory about that video length.

Have fun with it. Hope its lasts. I had a 440 in my car last 3 years. Ran great 10.56 then one day it broke a rod. Racing
