Anyone heard about this fiberglass company...

Look up stinger fiberglass in FL
I know the owner he's a great guy runs a great company and his parts are top shelf stuff . He actually builds cars too and he knows the struggles . He also only makes glass parts of org parts in mint condition no guessing or measurement games like some do. And lastly he's been doing this since before I knew what a car was plus some so a long time again nice parts at reasonable prices . If you can't find his information let me know I can get it for you .

Oh and just for piece of mind even though he makes Chevy and Ford parts .he is a full blooded mopar man . Last time I was in his personal garage he had a black Daytona, black 69 charger ,one of my old 73 sunroof cars he was restoring,a silver 66 and I believe there's a super bird at the shop getting welded up . Do yeah mopar guy

I thought I saw Stinger fiberglass had a trunk lid and doors for my 65 dodge but when I looked last night, I didn't see it on their availbility list. That's why I googled fiberglass doors and trunk and they came up.

When nobody in the USA had a hood for my car, I called them. I was told they'd make one for me. 3 days later... I drove to Toronto, and picked it up. It was still warm from the curing process. My body-guy liked it better than the original that had blown off the car. It had lips on all sides, and better structure. Your results may vary.

I have read mixed reviews about them. I was looking into fiberglass parts when I started on bodywork and paint a year or 2 back.

Call stinger he has tons of parts he might be able to take care of it for you

Stinger

Guess my thumbs down didn't show up.

Stinger has the trunk lid for my car. I didn't see it at 1st but it's there.
Now my question is, do I get a bolt on or a pin on?
How much weight will I save from removing all the torsion parts on the car and the hinges as well as that big ol' steel trunk lid?

Next question is how flimsy and how's the feel of a fiberglass door? Do they bolt right up to the stock hinges? And how much weight should I be saving on each door? These steel doors are heavy.

Well some stinger stuff is OK. And if he's been tooling his molds it might be OK. I'm personally not a stinger fan most his Mopar hoods are Allen's old molds and there pretty nice, he's the guy that makes ecklers parts. His lift off stuff are light and about what you would expect for flimsy. I've seen worse. His bolt on stuff is pretty good. Doors didn't think he made any. Now when you get your stuff and if it's full of gray primer sand it off, mite have the air pockets full of Bondo. He can't or won't repair his stuff properly. I've got to many bad parts from him. I personally won't use anything he makes. Good luck.

I got Stingers /AAR hood for my Belvedere last year and it was absolutely perfect. Not on blemish and it even had the dimples for where the hood letters went. It was a light sand/scuff and paint.

Stock doors loaded are around 75lbs each. Deck lid about 55. No way those 3 items will lose 200lbs. More like 125lb.

125 lbs. is a great start. Do you know how much the hinges and torsion stuff weighs?
Or just get the bolt on trunk lid and call it a day.

The front hinges are 13lbs . The rears are light. Not worth the hassel to remove them. Windows and regulators are alot. Mine still has a glass windshield. The sides, regulators saved 84 lbs. You could eliminate the vent frames 11lbs. Make a .090" tubing steering shaft. Saved 24lbs making carbon fiber bumper brackets.
