Almost everyone has that one car they've seen that is or was the inspiration for their build. Post a pic of the car that has inspired your current build and lets see your progress.

This is the car that just flipped my switch when I first saw it. Clean, simple, and aggressive... with a touch of class.

And here's my progress so far..... Probably won't include the scoop, but it will be heavily influenced by the car above.

One word springs to mind ... " Sleeper " .... Love it

My 65 Belvedere was purely a cruiser, and I hadn't ever thought about racing it. That changed when I saw this picture on the internet: Had I never seen it, who knows... I'd probably still have ended up road racing it, but I can't lie.. this definitely inspired me.

I forgot to add my "progress" pic...

My inspiration came before cameras were invented, well I didn't have one anyway. The first hot car I ever rode in belonged to a friend's older brother, a red 65 Belvedere 383 4 spd, a lot of fun. And riding with my older brother in dad's 64 Belvedere 318 automatic, looking over at the speedometer well past the 100 mph mark. And having a 63 Fury in high school. So, I'm guessing that's why I now own a 65 Belvedere 1, a 64 Savoy, and a 63 Fury. I just don't have any pictures of the cars that "inspired" me.

That 68 Charger on Bullitt got me pumped up but couldn't afford a 68 Charger so I bought a 69 Roadrunner!

Finding one is tough though, so I thought early 60s muscle would be cool. My favourite is the 64 330. I love the roof line on the 330 and the 64 tail lights...
I couldn't find a 330 but found my convertible which has a similar roof line.

That blue one actually looks like that quiet kid from your school .... You know , the kid that always kept himself to himself .... Until that fateful day when the school bully picked on him ...and the bully walked away with tears in his eyes and a nose bleed ....

had a bully , used to pick on me weekly, I finally busted his nose, he didn`t bother me much after that !

After buying my dream car I attended car shows, watched all the car shows, flipped threw countless pages of magazines and googled for every Charger I could find. I knew it had to be Orange and lowered with the perfect stance and rim size so when I caught this car on TV it was love at first sight lol. Although I love the Dukes I wanted nothing to do with building a General Lee but loved everything else about it.

Isnt that Kenny Wayne Shepards car? Its is sweet! You did a badass job on yours too! I would gladly take one of each!

Well this inspired the 440 build and replacement of the anemic four barrel poly 318 my 64 440 came with. Got smoked at a light by a kid in his moms Prius...

Please tell me your kidding? That would definitely motivate a man though! I guess I could see that happening with a tired old 318 in a big car.... man that had to suck!

Sure is, they had an episode on Rad Rides showing the build. Surprisingly for a wealthy guy the car is built with very little alterations even running the factory torsion bars and leaves.
