Can across this car in my area. Original 1 owner car, ordered with one head rest. Maybe he ran out of money and only could afford one headrest...

It's probably a 1 of 1. Bet the wife wanted it and he didn't.

Makes it ultra rare - value just went up 3x after restoration ..... lol

What sort of shape is that buddy seat in? Are they parting it out?

I have a friend with a 68 GTS 340 car that is documented with one on the drivers side and none on the passengers side

Haha I'd be adding one to the other side....Rare or not that'd look really goofy to me.

Hey, $15 is $15! Why waste money with fancy options when you don't need them?

Never seen one on the passenger side only but this was an option back in the day. Makes the car look "Goofy" and adds nothing to the value.

I have a set of buckets that came with my 68. Thinking they are C-body, drivers side is power Passenger is not but came with a headrest. Go figure??

I've seen a couple single-headrest cars. It's been over about 5 decades...but they're out there.

Y'know, I'd leave it as is just for the fact its a conversation piece. So what if some asshole thinks its weird.

Whoever ordered it figured he would be prepared for sudden acceleration but the passenger may not be. Or perhaps it was a fat fingered order. Who knows.
