Has anyone used the new gel cell original mopar battery for the 69 to 74 cars? I am wondering how long it lasted for you and how you liked it? Was it worth the high cost for the look?

I have purchase 2 in the last 7 years for My GTX, the cost is high but its the look I want.....

Yes, I put one in my 73 back in 2012. I always keep a charge on it over the winter in storage. Still good.

I've had a replica sealed battery (don't know if it is a gel-cell or not). This one has lasted about 5 years so far and I keep a Battery Tender on it whenever it is parked. I got 8 years out of a replica "open" acid battery before.

Thank you, this puts me at a better perspective for the possible purchase, I keep the car a on a battery tender with a Advance Auto Parts battery when it is in the garage all year in between drives. The last one lasted 7 years it does make a difference when it has the tender on it and we don't use the cars much. I am a retired MSGT/USAFR from WARB in Chicopee MA.
