Pulled over this morning PA State trooper

He was a really cool guy and I liked the fact that he did not call the wheels 'rims'. No, I am not lining up a joke with that word.

My phone number is not on the citation. Maybe I have a stalker. My twin brother went to a car show in his Super Snake and a guy started to talk to him about the car. A few days later, the guy shows up at my brother house in in local police cruiser and in uniform to talk to him about the car. He searched his address from his plate (a bit illegal I assume). He wanted to bring his son over one night to show him the Super Sanke...stalker alert.
That is a crime for an officer to use official government database for personal use. The is a record of his search in the system.

Thank you for the advice recuediver1985. I am not debasing this or any officer as I was wrong by speeding.

I'm with the guy that says he's looking for a date. What better way to collect numbers than by pulling over guys that drive cars you like....... (Since your Christian - as am I - I would strongly suggest you reject his advances when he calls) lol

First, yes we have front and rear facing facing radar antenna. The newer units are sophisticated enough to sense direction, fastest units, etc and even lockout undesired directions for busy streets. We also have LIDAR (Laser) but those are handheld.

the radar antenna is that little dome on the trunk, right?

do y'all use instant-on radar as well?

Sounds strange about the trooper asking you
"can I have your phone #" ? request, not a demand ?
{you didn't have to give it to him} Anyway...

I've been pulled over & even sometimes let off, reduced tickets etc.
by a few LEO's/CHP/Sheriffs
that were total car guys, driving my RR's, Charger's, Jeeps
or other cool cars/trucks...
Sometime I think some were just wanting to check it out...
When I was younger if they asked me to see something,
I was always reluctant, thought they were trying to entrap me,
most weren't, most just wanted to check it out....

IMO the rest of the org. story, just sounded like a car guy/cop/trooper
interested in the "cool wheels" !!
maybe he wants to get some for his Jeep ?
I know a few of them types, some are serious car guys,
I know a few that are diehard Jeep guys too {CJ's mainly}

At-least you didn't get points on your insurance that way,
he could have been a total dick...

did he speak with a lisp ?
Smiley limp wristed fag flag.gif
that may be a dead giveaway {JK}

Yes almost all are instant on anymore. You can just leave it in a hold pattern until you click which antenna you want. I always leave my front one on usually... Radar detectors don't bother us, there are enough people that don't use them or tune them out... I only use traffic stops to find bigger fish anyways... I like the ol' warning book instead of the ticket book! Lol....

Now when it comes to Lidar, if your laser band goes off on your detector you are already had... Lol

Stay safe!

He was trying to get you to say you got a rim job from the mechanic ! He was a bad bad boy and wanted a rim job too! If you see him again and the cuffs come out you better start squealing or running !

Valentine1 Radar detector has never let me down. Alway enough advance. #%*MPH in Nevada, nowhere, open range, no other cars for one hour. Beep starts abruptly. Tribal Police sitting in his Explorer all day waiting for a 69 Coronet to go by. Absolutely would have had me. Got to 55 just by rolling off. Many other examples. Foolish to travel I-5 or anywhere else without it. $400 now saves much more later.
