I have a 64 Dodge Polara 500 that is a real rust free car from CA. I have known about this car for 15 years as I used to see it in the owners garage whenever it was opened.
Long story short the owner passed away and I got the car. It is an original 383 2bbl car but the engine was locked up. I built a 440 for the car with a forged crank, forged pistons, mild hydraulic camshaft, aluminum dual plane intake and electronic ignition. I also had the 3 row radiator redone and through on a clutch fan. The transmission is a 65 slip yoke cable transmission built by Pro Trans in Lancaster, CA. It has an 11" 2,500 stall converter. The rear end is also a 65 regular axle with a 742 case 3:23 geared clutch posi that has all new clutches and bearings. The rear brakes and drums are new. The car also has 73 and later front disc brakes and new master. There really is so much more. I have a lift at home and can send pictures of any part of the car the you would like. This is a great car to drive. I have driven the car about 800 miles since it was finished.
