68 Charger OEM HOOD on CROSS RAM?? Is it possible?

Hi
After I install my engine with crossram in my car I found out that it don't fit with my OEM hood, there is only less than half inch clearance left for the airfilter. Any suggestion on the filter or some low profile scoop for my car.

Looks like a nice car. Maybe preserve your original hood and buy an aftermarket 6 pack hood that you can modify or see if you can find another charger oem hood that you can modify. This way you save the good original one?
Finding charger parts in Thailand is probably difficult I'm sure!

Do you have any other suggestion on low profile scoop,but sick pack? Any custom work would be nice since we can do it in my country. Can't find one on the internet.

If it is a half inch or less you could always make some spacers & lower the K-Frame. It has been done before & it works.
 
Maybe you have some extra clearance to be gained by taking any height out of the motor mounts too, if there is any available to take out...
 
My oil pan is pretty low so if I lower the engine mont the ground clearance will be very low and quite hard to drive in my country.

I already lower my engine Mont but the clearance still not enough. Maybe have to go with the scoop
 
Maybe sell me the cross ram and buy a reg setup the air cleaner s to those can be dropped down low !
 
No problem figured that you would go for the scoop instead .
