My Super Satellite project ('72 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus conversion to Superbird/Supersatellite) needs a 305 Mopar motor before I fabricate the wing and nose. Can't find a 1970 Trans AM Mopar 305 crankshaft so I will just have to have the 2.96 stroke crankshaft special ordered. Wonder whether I should specify a 6 or 8 bolt configuration, will be using 904 automatic. Thank you.

With that stroke, it isn't going to make enough torque to stress either. I'd be looking for good heads and a 5.13 gear so you can get enough rpm to make any power.

BTW I've had several 440 + motors at about 600 HP with 6 bolt cranks. The six bolts were never the problem, just the factory crank and my excessive RPM.
